It's Like Biting a Lemon: Keira Grant (Kid and baby sizes)

SKU: K03KG

Original artwork created through collaboration with a real local childbearer. Give a child in your life this shirt, and connect them with the wisdom Keira has gained. A bitten lemon, Keira's symbol for the human adventure of having twins and losing one of them, expresses a constant duality of beauty and pain, and the need to let all the big feelings in--be they fragrant or face-puckeringly sour.

*THIS IS FOR EVERYONE!* Just as the archetypal warrior hero inspires us all to strive and persevere, the archetypal childbearer can provide solidarity to all who face the murky and bewildering side of life.

These t-shirts are part of a larger art project anchored in large oil portraits of each childbearer alongside their symbol. It will be celebrated at Fitz Books with an opening party and a month-long exhibit through June, 2025.
